I Thank God that I keep an Open mind and Keep Learning! Father’s Day –

I went to church Sunday- Father’s day, I had a hard time sitting there listening to the message, because the pastor was talking about what is a Godly FATHER. F-man of Faith, A-man of affection and action, T- man who can be trusted and takes TIME with his family, H-Honest to his family and friends, and God, E-Employeed to provide efficiently for his family and to be and EXAMPLE of Christ love to His family and friends, and then I had to walk out. it was good, and right, but too hard to hear because my ex-husband, who was and is an evangelist, would “teach” things like this but was completely not this at home. Instead, quit jobs without me knowing, beat me and be destructive of things around the house, or family, deceptive, sit around and read sci-fys and bible, preach but not put into action what he preached, etc… All I could do was think about the past, instead of enjoy church. So I prayed and told God I love Him, and that the message was good, but Lord, I’m getting negative, which isn’t healthy or a good thing to be in,(but I did admit it and recognize it), so I felt it’s best I leave and turn this over to God and pray. Which I did, and then I felt better the rest of the day, instead of a day full of resentments building up (again), so I was able to enjoy Father’s day with my stepdad!! !
Praise God that I keep openminded to keep learning!
